My Daddy Taught Me That is a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring middle and high school boys in the Greater Asheville area. Since 2012, we have partnered with local schools, housing communities, juvenile courts, faith groups, and social service agencies to help young men build positive friendships, develop strong life skills, and make responsible choices. My Daddy Taught Me That Jr. serves elementary school-aged youth. Our mission is to empower, educate, and support young males to grow into righteous, respectable, and responsible men.
